Late night park at Crotched
If you haven’t been to Crotched Mountain yet, you need to go. Compared to Loon and Waterville, it’s relatively small, but someone there is really pushing a nice park. Unfortunately, the warm weather’s made all of New Hampshire a sheet of ice. It’s giving me deja vu from growing up in Pennsylvania, where they spray down the trails with a garden hose and let it freeze.
It’ll get better and judging by the looks of Crotched’s park, I’ll be hitting it up over and over again. If you’re in Boston, it’s only about 1 1/2 hrs away and good for some end of day riding. Take a look at the pics below.

Ken Jones Ski and Snowboard Mart is having a demo day at Mt Sunapee this year. You can demo all the ‘09 gear before it’s out. The only thing is you gotta sign up beforehand. You can’t beat a $30 lift ticket and all the gear you wanna ride for the day. Thursday, March 6th. Get on it! More info here.
